Martinsville, VA - A Martinsville company celebrated its official opening Tuesday with the company of Lt. Governor Bill Bolling. Faneuil announced in April that they plan to invest $2.4 million in the area, establishing a customer support center for Dominion Power.

To date, they have hired more than 100 workers. And they say they could hire as many as 250 more. Plus, the Lt. Governor says the administration is putting together a marketing plan to attract even more jobs to the Southside.

"If that effort comes together the way that we want it to for the first time we're gonna have 600 thousand dollars going directly into a regional marketing plan talking about what a great place Southern Virginia is to come and do business and that's the cooperative message that we need to send," said Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling.

Bolling says he should be back to the area for more big announcements in the coming weeks, but he says that's all he can tell us for now.
